FL4000H Multi-spectrum IR Flame Detector
The FL4000H is an advanced multi-spectrum infrared (MSIR) flame detector that provides superior false alarm immunity with the widest field of view. The FL4000H employs a multi-spectral optical IR sensing array with a sophisticated Neural Network Technology (NNT) system to reliably discriminate between actual flames and the vast majority of false alarm sources. The FL4000H detects typical fires such as alcohol, n-heptane, gasoline, jet fuels and hydrocarbons. It can also see through dense smoke produced by diesel, rubber, plastics and lube oil fires.
Ultima® X Series Gas Monitors

The S4000CH Intelligent Sensor is a microprocessor-based transmitter designed for use with General Monitors industry-leading catalytic bead sensors. It features one person calibration and virtually self-calibrates by simply activating a magnetic switch and applying gas. It monitors combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provides status indication and alarm outputs. Complies with ANSI/ISA 12.13.01-2000 performance requirements for combustible gas detectors.
FL3100H UV/IR Flame Detector
The FL3100H is an Ultraviolet / Infrared flame detector designed to detect fires and provide alarm outputs directly from the detector while maintaining false alarm immunity. Ultima® XIR Gas Monitor
The microprocessor-based, infrared Ultima XIR gas detector is precisely engineered to continuously monitor for combustible gases and vapors. The unit features DuraSource Technology, which offers improved IR life, and a HART port for easy output access. The explosion-proof stainless steel monitor works indoors or outdoors and features infrared technology that eliminates the need for frequent calibrations. Its operations are based on dual-wavelength, heated-optics technology, which compensates for temperature, humidity and aging effects. IR400 Point IR Gas Detector
The IR400 Infrared (IR) Point Detector is a hydrocarbon gas detector that continuously monitors combustible gases and vapors within the lower explosive limit (LEL) and provides alarm indication. It features an industry-leading response time of ≤ 3 seconds, even with a splash guard installed. All electronics are contained within an explosion-proof housing so that the IR400's detector information can be processed locally. Configurations with analog output, Modbus and HART are also available.
S4000TH H2S Gas Detector
The S4000TH Intelligent Gas Sensor is a microprocessor-based transmitter designed for use with General Monitors' thin film metal oxide semiconductor (TFMOS) sensors to detect H2S gas. The unit features one person calibration and can virtually self-calibrate by simply activating a magnetic switch and applying gas. It detects hydrogen sulfide in 0-20 ppm, 0-50 ppm or 0-100 parts per million (ppm) levels over a wide temperature range.
SB100 Ultrasonic Bump Tester
The SB100 is a hand-held battery-operated rechargeable ultrasonic tester designed to bump test General Monitors ultrasonic gas leak detectors. The SB100 is useful for quick tests where physical access to the ultrasonic gas detector can be difficult. The unit can be used to bump test up to 18 meters away from the detector in Class 1, Div 1&2 hazardous areas.
Ultima® Controller

The MC600 is a microprocessor-based multi-channel controller that provides six channels of continuous gas detection. FlameGard® 5 UV/IR Flame Detector
The precision-crafted FlameGard® 5 UV/IR Flame Detector monitors both ultraviolet and infrared (UV & IR) spectral ranges, which makes it highly immune to false alarms caused by lightning, arc welding, hot objects and other sources of radiation. The unit's Continuous Optical Path Monitoring (COPM) checks both the optical path integrity and the detector's electronic circuitry once a minute, while the wide field of view enables greater fire detection coverage.
S4100C Combustible Gas Detector
The S4100C Intelligent Sensor is a self-contained microprocessor-based transmitter with integral three-digit readout. It is designed to measure and display concentrations of combustible gases in the 0-100% LEL range, but will continue to display concentrations up to 120% LEL. The sensing element may be incorporated in the transmitter housing or remotely mounted at distances up to 620 meters. The S4100C records the number of successful calibrations, computes the sensor output in mV during calibration and stores in non-volatile memory.
Ultima® X Sampling Module
Built for safety programs that demand gas concentration measurement before allowing entrance to an area, the Ultima X Sampling Module is exclusively designed to work with the Ultima X Gas Monitor. The unit features an explosion-proof design and reliably extracts a sample from any confined or inaccessible area—or any area that is too hot, cold, or otherwise harsh—and delivers gas concentration reading directly to the installed gas monitor.
Zero Two Series Gas and Flame Detection System

610A Four Channel Combustible Gas Monitor
The 610A is a system for continuously monitoring combustible gas (hydrocarbon) concentrations in four locations. The system consists of four General Monitors remote catalytic bead sensing assemblies and a solid-state controller. The controller features four independent channels, each having its own circuitry. The 610A features a digital display of gas concentrations in % LEL (0-99% lower explosive limit) for each channel.
Catalytic Bead Sensors
The General Monitors catalytic bead gas sensors are well known for their sensitivity, reliability and longevity and make them the first choice for most users of the catalytic oxidation gas detection principle. Every component is manufactured in-house to ensure optimum performance. Careful matching of the active and reference elements ("beads") result in a sensor that has negligible zero drift with respect to changes in humidity, pressure, and temperature.

580A Dual-Channel Combustible Gas Monitor
The 580A is a compact, highly-versatile system for continuously monitoring combustible gas (hydrocarbon) concentrations in two locations. The system consists of two remote catalytic sensing assemblies and a solid-state controller. The controller automatically displays the higher reading channel on a digital display, scaled from 0-100% LEL (lower explosive limit). Manual override switching permits readout of the low channel at any time.

H2S Gas Sensors and Accessories
General Monitorsʼ hydrogen sulfide (H2S) sensors are solid state devices, designed and manufactured for long life and fast response. They are selective to H2S and remain unaffected by high concentrations of other substances like hydrogen, sulfur dioxide, and gasoline vapors, which are often present in facilities that process sour gas and crude oil. A high tolerance to a broad range of temperatures and humidity enable these sensors to operate in rugged environments, as does their capacity to withstand exposure to high H2S concentrations over short periods.
S4100T H2S Gas Detector
The S4100T Intelligent Sensor is a highly reliable, self-contained, microprocessor-controlled hydrogen sulphide transmitter with integral 3 digit readout. It is designed to measure and display concentrations of H2S in the 0-20 ppm, 0-50 ppm or 0-100 ppm range, but will continue to display concentrations up to 120% FSD. The gas sensor may be incorporated in the transmitter housing or remotely mounted at distances of 600 meters. The sensor employs thin film metal oxide semiconductor (TFMOS) technology as the measuring principle.
9010/9020 Controller
The 9010/9020 SIL controller comes with advanced design and innovative features. Monitoring up to 20 channels, it’s now also SIL 2 suitable. The 9010 controller operates with one independent sensor, while the 9020 operates with two independent sensors per control module. Each module comes with an independent AC/DC power supply for increased system reliability. Both units feature full internal diagnostics, which minimize false alarms and unexpected down time. The controller powers up the remote gas detectors, while its large four-digit LCD and LED provide crucial information such as gas concentration, alarm status and more.
The 9010/9020 LCD controller monitors up to 20 channels and comes with an independent power supply. The LCD version has approvals for FM (North America) and CCCF (China) whereas the 9010/9020 SIL controller is ATEX and SIL2 certified.

PrimaX® P Gas Transmitter
Designed to detect gases indoors or outdoors, our PrimaX P Gas Transmitter measures oxygen and toxic and combustible gases. The flameproof transmitter is housed in a powder-coated aluminum enclosure that will protect it in extremely dangerous conditions. The unit also features a large, easy-to-read LCD screen and three LED status indicators for up-to-the-second reporting. The transmitter attaches to an integral mounting plate for easy installation, and it can be easily calibrated using the built-in keypad. It uses a 4-20 mA output signal to transmit its data, and it can also be configured to use HART digital communication. With easily replaced plug-in sensors, the PrimaX P transmitter is suitable for laboratories, chemical plants, power plants and several other industry settings.
RGC - Remote Gas Calibrator for Catalytic Bead Sensors
The Remote Gas Calibrator (RGC) allows calibration gas to be applied to a remotely located catalytic bead sensor from an easily accessible location. The RGC is used for blocking ambient air and redirecting methane to the catalytic sensor for calibration or testing sensor accuracy. The RGC tests or calibrates the General Monitors catalytic sensor with 50% LEL methane. The unit is capable of calibrating gas at wind velocities up to 50 mph. The RGC is used manually with a pressure regulator (P/N 80146-1) and is suitable for calibrating with any light hydrocarbon.
TL105 Test Lamp
The TL105 is a battery operated test lamp designed specifically to test General Monitors Flame Detectors. The TL105 is an explosion-proof test lamp that can be used with the FL4000H MSIR flame detector as well as any of the FL3100 Series Flame Detectors. The TL105 operates up to 35 feet from the flame detector.
FlameGard® 5 Test Lamp
With its high-energy broadband radiation source, the battery-operated FlameGard® 5 Test Lamp is precision-designed to test MSA's FlameGard® 5 MSIR, UV/IR, and UV/IR-H2 Flame Detectors. The rechargeable test lamp provides a radiation source that emits sufficient energy in both the ultraviolet and infrared spectra to activate UV and/or IR flame detectors. A variety of flashing test patterns allow the test lamp to check the operation of MSA flame detectors.
TS4000H Toxic Gas Detector
The TS4000H Intelligent Toxic Gas Detector continuously monitors a variety of toxic gases in the ppm range or oxygen deficiency, delivering highly accurate detection and protection. ARGC - Automatic Remote Gas Calibrator
To verify the proper operation of a catalytic combustible gas sensor, it is necessary to periodically apply a gas of known concentration to the sensor. This is usually done manually at the site with gas supplied from a small lecture bottle. As the sensor reacts to the calibration gas, adjustments are made to the monitoring system to bring its calibration into agreement with the known concentration of gas. At times, sensors are mounted in inaccessible locations, requiring expensive catwalks or scaffolding to reach them. The Automatic Remote Gas Calibrator (ARGC) allows the calibration gas to be applied to the catalytic bead sensor from easily accessible locations. The ARGC is used for blocking ambient air and redirecting methane to the catalytic sensor for calibration or testing sensor accuracy. The ARGC tests or calibrates the General Monitors catalytic sensor with 50% LEL methane. The unit is capable of calibrating gas at wind velocities up to 50 mph. Note: the RGC (P/N 80153-1), used manually with a pressure regulator (P/N 80147-1), is suitable for calibrating with any light hydrocarbon.

Indoors or outdoors, our PrimaX I Gas Transmitter provides dependable, accurate gas detection. The transmitter detects toxic gases and oxygen and is housed in an antistatic, reinforced nylon enclosure. It also has a large, easy-to-read LCD screen and attaches to an integral mounting plate for easy installation, while the built-in keypad makes for quick, simple calibration. To transmit data, the unit uses a 4-20 mA output signal and can also be configured to use HART digital communication. The IR4000S Single-Point Monitor is a display and user interface for the IR400 point IR gas detector. The monitor allows local calibration and displays gas concentration. Relays are optional. The relays provide output for Alarm, Warn, and Fault conditions.
IR4000M Multi-Point Gas Monitor
The IR4000M Multi-Point Gas Monitor can be used as an integrated combustible gas detection system, with capacity to connect eight point IR or open path gas detectors and read their status with one command. The highest current % LEL among all connected detectors is shown continuously during normal operation. An extensive set of menus are easily navigated using a magnetic switch to request the status and configuration data stored by the IR4000M.
Toxgard® II Gas Monitor
Simply connect the convenient ToxGard II Gas Monitor to a power source and a remote sensor, and it's ready to detect toxic gases, combustible gases and oxygen deficiency. The indoor/outdoor unit is housed in a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure and features a large LED screen, three levels of alarm and a failsafe fault relay output.
Chemgard® Photoacoustic Infrared Gas Monitor Series
The stable, durable Chemgard Photoacoustic Infrared Gas Monitor is purpose-built and detects minute amounts of a wide variety of gases. Three different enclosure styles ensure there is a configuration for wildly different situations. The instrument typically draws the gas sample via an internal pump, which allows the unit to be mounted in a convenient location if the area to be monitored is inaccessible. The unit can be expanded to monitor up to 8 locations, while an easy-to-read display shows gas concentrations and 3 levels of alarms.
MultiGard™ 5000 Multipoint Gas Sampling System

Surveyor Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detector
The Surveyor detects gas leaks by sensing the airborne ultrasound emitted from leaking gas at high pressure. Ultrasonic gas detection is based on robust and proven Gassonic technology and designed for long and failsafe operation in extreme environmental conditions. Because the Surveyor responds to the source of a gas release rather than the dispersed gas, it is unaffected by changing wind directions, gas dilution, and the direction of the gas leak.
